sorry guys electrolux manufactures the fridgidair brand figidair does not own electrolux! The brands are a horse apiece in the refridgerator/freezer market. Fridgidair supplys more freezers and refridgerators, than all other brands combined.over 65 percent of the market share. As for washing machines buy a whirlpool. Electrolux also manufactures washers and dryers but I feel the whirlpools are the best in this area.

I wouldn't buy whirlpool washers and dryers. I purchased front end duets and they are broken after less than a year of use. And I have no abused the machines either. I do one load of laundry every other day, which is within the suggested usage of about 5 loads per week. The washer has locked me out, and so far it's been 2 weeks since I called the company and make an apt for the following week. The dryer just broke, internal pieces of the housing/grill were banging around during a load, and it will not be repaired until the following week, and they wouldn't let me schedule for the same day either. Whirlpool sucks, just read all the reviews, and the company could care less. Biggest waste of money, but at least I have a warranty for 5 years, because clearly I am going to need it.

Fridgidaire owns Electrolux. Buy a Whirlpool and save yourself a headache.
