Do I divide how many miles I have driven by the amount of gallons of gas I put in my tank to fill it up?

Get it to E or 1/4 or 1/2. Put ten gallons in it. See how many miles you drive when it gets back to that. Divide that by 10.

Yes. Make sure your tank is full to begin. Then be sure you fill it up the next time you need fuel. Divide the number of gallons at the second fill up by the number of miles you put on your vehicle between fill ups.

the best thing to do is to keep a record of the gallons in the last three tanks of fuel and amount of miles for those three tanks and then divide i couldn't help you with gallons as i do litres and klm
