do a web search on overview of greek and roman mythology and look for the main characters and concepts... the planet names are a good start... HINT they are the Roman names
but you can find them with a search
Mercury roman Hermes greek the messenger
Venus roman Aphrodite greek beauty
Earth neither (although there is a Europa)
Mars roman Ares greek? war
Jupiter roman Zeus greek the big chief and married to Hera
Saturn one of the predessessors to Jupitor
Uranus one of the predessessors to SAturn??
Neptune roman god of the sea
Pluto roman god of the underworld with kerberos the three headed dog used to name 3 key encryption
also find out who athena, hephastus, hercules, and the muses and a little abotu the trojan war and Janus
the gods met on mt olympus and drank something I forget the name of ...

that's so fkkin wierd cause i just had a greek and roman mythology test on friday. i had no idea either. lol. but for ur question def. go with http://www.wikipedia.org. it got me alot of info for when i had my project on greek and roman mythology.
