It may seem for a little bit that your cheeks/nose are a little red, but it gets so much better afterwards. I've had proactiv for about 6 months now, and I love it. It takes about 2-3 weeks to get used to it and then you'll start seeing results =]

I used Proactive and it didn't work for me that well. The first week, I did break out more, it irritated my skin or something. After that, my acne started to disappear. It worked for about 6 weeks than it didn't work for me anymore. I quit using it then I broke out even more. My advice: just get a prescription medication from a dermatologist and don't waste your money on over-the-counter crap.

It will take a while for your face to settle into the proactiv. Your face will produce more oil because the skin is drier. But don't stop. It will clear up.

It shouldn't. I use it, but I now only slightly break out right before my period. I don't know why it would cause you to break out when you start using it.
