Yes, technology is present in Madagascar. Televisions, video games and radios are available.

TV and video games are only for the rich in Madagascar. There is one TV station based in Antananarivo. This link will show some of the figures of TV ownership. http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0107743.html
Madagascar when these figures came out was rated as fourth poorest country in the world. One reason for this is that children greatly outnumber people of working age, which is bad for an economy where we usually reckon on having a workforce which is big enough to support children and the very old.

Even radios are out of the reach of many, as batteries are expensive. If ever you go there, buy some wind-up radios to give people. It is a wonderful country to visit and has a fascinating culture. The people are very musical and have instruments which are peculiarly their own, such as the valiha, a stringed instrument. They also have national dances and an old tradition of reciting stories as a group, in perfect harmony.

It is unbelievably exciting to visit their national parks and see the large variety of lemurs, which belong exclusively to Madagascar. In fact, because it was separated from the rest of Africa so early on, it has many species of plant of medical importance which can only be found there. Sadly, because the people are poor and farm by the slash and burn method which is destroying the vegetation (and the animal habitats), much of this is being lost. Most people are descended from the Indonesians and their food and much of their culture stems from this. They eat rice three times a day (when they can afford it) and often build their houses on stilts. They venerate their ancestors and save up all their lives to have a splendid tomb themselves. They also save up to provide their ancestors with a splendid ceremony called the turning of the dead, when their bodies are removed from the ground, the bones are wrapped up in cloth and paraded round their home village or town, while everyone tells them all the latest gossip, and then they are reburied. Because of respect for ancestors, who are believed to be all around, many things are "fado" or taboo.

see you later as my team is on the position of starting place channel, i recognize watching the video games on television. i'm a Phillies fan and love watching the video games even as on CSN or my phl 17. even as on those stations the broadcasters are an identical as on the radio. even as the video games are on Fox or maybe ESPN, i could desire the radio call of Harry Kalas, Sarge, Chris Wheeler and Tom McCarthy. in truth I rather a lot did that in the global sequence only to hearken to Harry Kalas call the perfect out!!
