I only just recently found out about the powerpuff girls becoming an anime. I think the animation is cute but it in no way compares to the original its way too cutesy. Has anybody else seen it? If so what do you think? Also will it ever air in america?

Powerpuff girls due to it's "cute-ness" became popular in Japan and they decided to 'remake' it for their own market by making Powerpuff girls Z.
I've seen some here and there and I do agree that they don't really compare much as they are pretty different. Although the basic stoyline is the same, they characters personalities, powers, and day to day storylines is quite different from the original American one.
I don't think it's bad but I think it was created to fit the market it was created for and appeal to the Japanese viewers more.
I would not be surprised if it would eventually air in the US since Powerpuff girls did originate and become quite popular in the US. I think it depens if the Powerpuff girls are still popular in the US in that they want to spend money to lisenced the Japanese version.
Most shoujo orientated (girl focused) anime aren't considered popular enough to air on US television so there's probably a 50/50% chance on that only because of the original american version being popular.

I started it a couple of weeks ago. ...I kinda like it, but not really. Obiously becouse I haven't seen it since. I have a busy schedule and I only have time to watch animes or whatever I can't apparently live without. lol
I was a big fan of ppgs when i was young though.
