What is it they say "A picture speaks a 1000 words.Sometimes an actor can add drama to a scene by only thier presence.Whether it be fear or pleasure the actors'pose will(or should) enhance that scene

Absolutely! I used to do several exercises with my acting students making use of tableaux.

Essentially, what you're looking for are depictions of strong PHYSICAL relationships between two people. They might be touching, but it's not necessary. Just find paintings (or sculptures, or drawings, etc.) that show such a relationship. Then put yourself in those EXACT poses. When you assume those positions, you should start getting some internal feedback about what sort of a character that person might be. These are things that actors can use in creating characters.

they need to know how to show emotion and feelings with their bodies instead of always talking or doing things like mine. usually beginning actors learn mime and tableau and dance drama(contemparery) before they go into actual talking. your basicially learning how to use your bodys effectively.
