skate wax is for anything that is too rough to grind. ledges ,benches ,curbs .etc.you have to put it on the object that you want to grind and not on the board.

its for any thing to hard to grind you put it on like a bench and grind it not the board if u look in some skate vids u see some pros use it the little yello thing nija huston in tony hawks project 8

You rub it on street curbs and things to make them a little slippery, making it easier to grind on.

You rub it on whatever you want to grind to smooth it out so it will be easier to grind.
