Ed Reed is the best safety in the game. No question about it. Roy Williams and John Lynch are the worst listed above because they cant cover any body. They cant cover a running back, tight end or slot receiver

williams is probably a better cover man than everyone is giving him credit for, but i'll say ed reed...he can blitz, he tackles well(not just laying people out), and he is the best cover safety in the game...he also can be a game changer because of his ability to run interceptions back, resulting in change of field position and defensive touchdowns, which are huge momentum swingers
