It was popular in the mid 60's maybe even before that is just the time i remember hearing it. Here goes i would climb the highest mountain i would swim the coldest sea, i would walk on burning sands with my heart held in my hand. Oh i promised i would wait for you when you sailed so far away but i miss your tender kisses i would run to you today.I think the Vietnam War encouraged this song.I would love to know the title and the artist. The artist of course being a female.
