PLEASE PLEASE listen carefully! It is NOT the right thing to do. You are at a crossroads right now- a place in your life where you have a very important decision to make that will affect the REST of your life. You probably would be happier if you had more friends but there are other ways to make them...friends who are into positive things and have respect for themselves and don't want to smoke and do drugs. Smoking and doing drugs WILL NOT lead to anything positive. In fact, it will lead to enormous problems! It sounds like you want help and you want good advice and from your question I think deep down that you know this is probably not the right thing to do. It also sound like you may need to do some things to work on your self esteem. Please find someone you can confide in about your feelings. If you do decide to get into drugs and hanging out with people who do drugs, soon you could be in serious trouble- sitting in jail possibly or even worse- but this is the moment that you would look back on and wish you had done the right thing. Good luck.

You may only have a couple of friends but are they really good friends? Sometimes the quality of a friendship is better than having a lot of friends that really don't care or are only friends of convenience. I've been out of high school six years but when I was in high school I had a really close knit circle of only four friends. Even after all these years, we are all still very close. Doing drugs and smoking is not the answer. Don't compromise your morals and values to gain friendships. If you have to start doing something that you believe and feel is wrong to gain some friends, then it's not worth it. Also, you think that having more friends will make you happier, to me that means that something is bothering you or you feel incomplete in some way. Please talk to someone that you feel comfortable talking to. You need someone to talk to so that you can unburden yourself and get stuff off your chest. Good Luck.

there is nothing wrong with wanting more friends, but if you think that if you start smoking ,and doing drugs will help, you may get some friends, but those kinds of friends are TROUBLE. so if you have to ask if it's the right thing, then my guess would be no. there are better ways of getting more friends.

You want to seek out positive friends not losers that have resorted to drugs or booze. Life is to be enjoyed with a clear head and challenges that come at you are to be dealt with not blotted out by booze or drugs. Your current circle of friends can only harm You so get rid of them and change your hangouts. You will be happier without the losers that are around you now. Go to new places where people have positive feelings about life and show healthy outlooks on life.

Everyone wants to be liked and have lots of friends, but friends who do drugs and bring you down aren't really friends. A friend is someone who knows you and cares about you. I have never met anyone that was into drugs that cared about anyone but themselves. There are plenty of other ways to make friends. Find a club or group that does something that you are interested in. Think of somthing you like to do and go somewhere that has that and you will find people to make friends with there. Like if you like fishing go to a popular fishing place. If you like reading go find a book club.

More friends dont nessarly mean youd be happier just the oppiste more people to worry about. regarding the start smoking/drugs comment, the only reson to do anything is due to a personnel decision. my personnel response is I do smoke pot but I dont drink and have honestly wondered if perhaps drinking would allow me to socialize with more people. I relized that Drinking would not add or subtract from from hanging out with them because I dont drink same thing happened with cig's I hung out with people who did I just said "no I dont smoke" you can hang with anyone you want regardless of what they or you do. just treat each other with respect

Look it does not matter how many friends you have, you need good one's. Keep away from those bad people because they don't want to be your friend they want you to buy stuff off them. It's more of a business deal. You will make more friends. These people are not for you. They will hurt you in the end and real friends don't do that.

Thats not good quality is better than quantity...
Don't be someone else for friends
Usually the "friends" you make through drugs are going to be real friends
don't ruin your life for a bunch of fake friends...

first of all you shouldn't be smoking or doing drugs. Smoking and all of that can shorten your life. You should be patient and you will probably start getting more friends.
