My computer is weird. I cant download most things and i somehow have parental controls, but i didn't d-load 1. I never downloaded anything like a parental control, but i do have norton. I cant download a lot of things on itunes, do i have $40+ of videos and music that WONT download. Any hints on how to fix it?

Nortons may be invasive if you don't know how to use it but it will protect you alot better than most. As far as the parental controls you can turn that off. Right click on the Nortons icon in the taskbar it will bring up the options screen, then you can just click on the parental controls and turn them off.... Unless you have more than one account protected and you are not set as the Supervisor.

Believe me when I tell you that anytime I hear "Norton", I shudder. It's way too invasive - at least for my use. I've fixed many computers by just taking that software OFF. There's a lot better out there. If you have cable, like time warner, they provide AV and all that. Otherwise download AVG - it's very good software.

Ya, norton is probably your problem. I personally have Mcafee and its problem is that it sucks my system resources. The only reason I still have it is because im to lazy to get rid of it. Its not just a simple uninstall. You have to run third party software to remove all the leftover stuff from both mcafee and norton.

i think the firewall of Norton block yr access to many websites which it consider as suspect

Uninstall Norton and get your life back to normal

Norton sux!!!! it's slows down ur computer. uninstall it c ifit works
