Well, the best way is to just come straight out and ask for a bra. Your mom has probably already noticed that it is getting to be about that time. I know that asking can be SO embarassing, but she is a girl too, and had to ask her mom for her first bra. She knows exactly what you went through. For me and my mom, I just came straight out and asked her. She helped me find a perfect bra, and it just made things a lot more comfortable.

I would tell your mom you want to go out shopping for a bra. Tell her that you think you need one and ask her what she thinks. I suggest you go somewhere that can fit you properly so that your bra wearing experience will be a good one from the start.
I don't think you should start out with something like a sports bra, they are binding - they smash your breasts close to your body. I personally don't think they are very comfortable.
Good luck and happy bra shopping!!!

Tell her you`re starting to feel self conscious about that area of your body. Tell her you would like to pick out a bra for support and modesty.I`m sure your mom will understand, she probably went through the same thing when she was your age.

Just say "mom, i think i need a bra, could you help me look for one?" She would probably be happy about it.

The easiest way to tell your mom, is to flat at ask her.
but of course you could be shy, so you could just say, mom... i think i need a bra.
you might think it's awkward but don't worry. mother actually are very rational when it comes to that subject

Well, if you are truly uncomfortable just talking to her, you could always write her a quick note and leave it where you are sure she will find it. It's kinda the chicken way out, but it would work...

Talk to your mom, make her day. Ask for her help. That's the best way to go.
