how to access the motherboard setup and boot settings , its a sony vaio laptop , plz help me out in this

It should tell you when the computer is booting. It is usually press

F10, or F1 or F2 or ESC or DEL

Watch the prompts when it boots.

when you switch on start tapping the del key immediately until toy enter the bios page, there will be all the options for your mobo
