You know when a political party is dying when the supporters of the party drop to 30%. Another thing I noticed is that 30% left over have a focus on one particular issue. In almost all cases this issue does not affect them directly. It is something the Republicans think is morally wrong. It seems they just indulge in these questions to make themselves feel better than others. It makes them feel better about themsleves. They have no base or agenda in common. That is what happens when you have a group of people who only think of themsleves. The Republicans have degraded into something that makes the world ill. For the people of America the Republicans have only brought shame.

Absolutely on the mark, one issue binds them more then all the rest, that is the unpatriotic need to not pay their fair share of taxes. This form of putting the party before the country was last seen in Nazi Germany, just prior to the world war. Thank God they only have two years to screw up the country farther, then they will be gone.

Really they have brought shame? To who? Are you talking about with the socialist governments in the European Union. Or how about the muslim terrorists who now see how ineffective the way they fight truely is. The truth is that the republican party stands for conservative beliefs. These belief are the same as those of our founding fathers, in that the government should stay out of the affair of people. I can see how Bush's tax cut brought the nation out of a recession. I can see how Bush's reaction to 9/11 has kept another major attack from happening on US soil for the last 6 years. No sir, I think you are the idiot. You see socialized medicine is a failure. It causes a huge debt for the state and it some of the people who are indentified with a disease die before they can recieve treatment. Now what I have noticed is how the Democrat Party has to resort to negative proganda in order to control its stupid and pathetic members. The liberal democrats own most of the TV media, newspapers, and even most of the internet information. If you had half a brain(which I doubt) you see that you are being controlled and that everything the democrats believe in exists to take power away from individuals and give it the government. I would go on, but I can't as looking at your question sickens me. I am only writing this as a way of spitting on it.

I am a republican, I have an above average IQ, I scored a 99 on the ASVAB (highest score possible) and I am sick of people like you making democrats look like a bunch of hateful, immature, twits. Republicans are like lemmings to the sea.
They look to each other as to what to think.
When a few of the more independent lemmings get ideas into their head that conflict with the rest of the lemming's ideas, it creates mass chaos and panic.
They then join the rats who are abandoning ship and follow them.
Never stopping to think for themselves and what course of action would benefit them personally.
