Go to the website and send in a complaint. They sometimes send you a coupon to make up for the loss. :-)

See, that's exactly the reason why I pull up a little after getting my food and check the order. This has happened to me before, and when I went back inside, it was like 30 min before I got the rest of my order.

if im in a rush i have to take it as a loss but if i have nowhere in particular to go i will drive back up its happened before so i try to take a quick glimpse before i drive away. i have a friend that was at home in her kitchen and saw her lettuce looked old she got back in the car went back 2 burger kind for a replacement and they gave her a hard time...what a waste of 30mins of ur life i woulda just trashed it.

Turn around and go back. I have gotten all the home and went back. It is my hard earned money, and they should get the orders right the first time. Our McDonalds in my area is really bad about that. Everytime we go there, no body seems to be working, only standing around talking. We have stopped going there.

I always check the bag before I leave the parking lot. They leave things out more often than not.
