The main difference is that Subway's "toasted" subs are toasted in a microwave toaster style machine whereas Quizno's "toasted" subs travel through a conveyor on a typical restaurant oven (kind they use in most pizza chains) at a particular temperature for a certain amount of time. I think the ones from Quizno's really tast toasted while Subway's taste more microwaved.
Another difference is that Quizno offers more soups and also offers breadbowls (not offered at Subway).
Quizno's offers a larger variety of sub creations - my personal fave is the Sierra Smoked Turkey and my husband's fave is the prime rib. Most of Subway's creations seem to be all relatively the same in taste (unless you order a meatball sub). Plus, if you want wheat bread for the healthy aspect, I think Quizno has better wheat bread.

Depending on what you are looking for both have advantages.
Subway is healthier, and cheaper. If that is what you are looking for.
Quiznos is tastier, as they juice up their subs, but more expencive.
I prefer Quiznos, because every time I have gone to Subway I have been dissapointed. There just isn't any taste in their subs.
Another thing about this debate is the toasting of the subs, one problem I have found is that when Subway started toasting their subs they didn't change their bread. And so when you get a toasted sub from Subway it is often flaky and the top layer of the bread breaks apart making a mess. Quiznos uses large fluffy pieces of bread that are mean't for toasting and it comes out great. Subway toasts just to have what Quiznos has but I would rather eat a normal sub than a toasted one from Subway.
The ingrediants are another matter, Quiznos boasts that it has better meat and we have all seen the commercials on that. But if you are looking for lean meat you should run from Quiznos because thats just not what they do.
Subway uses thin strips of lean turkey, ham, salami, etc. Which keeps the fat content down as Jarred says.
It is difficult to actually say that one or the other is better since they are two different to compare on a level besides the fact that they both offer sub sandwiches. They are not BK and McD's. They are frozen yogurt and ice cream, people just like different things.
But as they say the difference is in the pudding, try them both for yourself and judge on the basis of your own tastebuds and wallet. That my friend is the only way to truely make up your mind.

Quizno's is awesome! It might be a little more expensive, but it's well worth it. I usually get coupons in the paper. When I go to Subway, the bread is always dry. Proximity is another thing- Quiznos is in the mall where I work, so it's convenient!

Quizno's automatically toast's their subs upon preparation. Subway asks you if you want your sub toasted or not toasted. I've found that subway has a larger variety of sandwich selections, compaired to Quizon's. However Quizno's offers soup, and subway doesn't. My personal opinion subway is better. I like their bread better, and you choose how your food is prepaired, and what veggies you want on it, along with condiments.

Quiznos charges too much, but Subway doesn't have the meat and cheese. I say neither, and look for alternatives.
For example, in Gainesville, FL we have a place called "Hogan's", who calls themselves the "inverse Subway". Better bread and double the meats and cheeses, for about the same price as Subway. Look around for other places besides the top brands and you might be supprised what you find.

Subway only toasts the sandwich when you ask them to; Quiznos toasts every sandwich. I prefer a sandwich with soft bred so SUBWAY it is for me!

Quizno gave me to raw of roast beef. It was a special. Made me puke! Don't go their!
Subway more fresher! I never barfed from a Subway roast beef yet!

Subway for me, they say Quiz has more meat in their subs but I get all I want in the Subway subs, and they cost less
