I am a conservative republican and one of my best friends at my last job was hippie. We even found a few ballot measures that we both agreed on afew times and were able to convice everyone at work to vote our way because if two people with such drasticly opposeing views thought somthing was a bad idea. then it must really be a bad idea. I don't think there was ever a ballot measure that we both thought was a good idea. Any way don't judge a book by it's cover. There are some hippies that are full of crap, and there are some hippies that, once the smoke clears lol, have some pretty smart things to say.

Hippies suck! They champion ideas that may sound good, but when in reality they would never work. Like all this diversity and political correctness. Their are studies out there that show to much cultural diversity is bad for any and all societies, and actually drives a wedge between people that are different. Some diversity is good, but not to the extent liberals want.

Pity is more the feeling i have for them. They think they are standing for freedom when they vote for those socialist democrats and they are really voting to take away freedom.

Whoever started this myth of all hippies being 'the great unwashed' is confusing 'hippies' with 'hobos'.
People who 'hate hippies' are usually the ones who are terrified of change, i.e. neocons.
