Zebras are one of the members of the equine family that have never been domesticated. How is it that they managed to get this zebra (or zebras) to be rideable? Simply good training?

It was most definately a zebra. Horses don't have that type of tail, and really - who is going to spend that much time painting a horse?

It is possible to train a zebra, however. As a matter of fact, the 'famous' Mr Ed (the talking horse) was actually a trained zebra! heres the story:http://www.snopes.com/lost/mistered.asp
