on a '91 acura legend coupe, was told i have a broken wire somewhere b'tween the relay box (undr hood) and the driver side kick panel (by driver's foot rest) causing cooling fans to not operate in high speed. i can take out the fuse panel, my thing is how do i knw/find the wires associated with the (radiator)fan relay box undrhood? don't want car to cntinue running hot. right now, no leaks or head problems(positve of that!!) would just like to fix the thing ASAP. plz help. thx.

first find the wire that comes from the fan itself, find out what color it is and follow that wire to the relay box, then from the relay box through the firewall to the kick panel, the wires may be wrapped in black plastic tubing.

get a wiring diagram at an auto parts store like auto zone. You can find a chilton repair manaul for your car from there. You probably have a bad relay or resisitor in the fan switch if you have low speed fan and not the high speed .

Use your vehicle repair manual by Chilton or Haynes. Make sure it's the wire and not the fan temperature sensor.
