Does Iggy have a better shot at winning a championship?

He certainly won't win a championship singlehandedly. Iverson has much more talent surrounding him in Denver (but that isn't always a good thing). I doubt Iverson will win a championship in his career, because he simply isn't meshing well with 'Melo and the rest of the Nuggets. He's putting up decent numbers, but their W/L record has been very bad since the trade. Igoudala could receive some support in this year's draft if the 76ers receive a high lottery pick. I'd say Igoudala has a better chance at winning a championship, but it's not gauranteed.

As long as he is in philly the only answer is NO.

Philly has struggled for some time now to produce a winning basketball team. The one year they made it only to be domilished by the Lakers was more of a product of Larry Brown getting the 11 players to support AI.

But without great coaching, this team is left for dead.

Andre Igoudala could and probably will be a great second option. It takes a special person and mindset to not only be a number 1 but you have to want to be a number 1. Some guys like Lamar Odom, Vince Carter, and others have number 1 ability, but they shy away from the pressures of being the man. I see the same thing with Igoudala. Hes good, but doesnt want to pressure of being great.

One thing you can say for Iverson whether you like him or not, is that he wanted to and still wants to be great. He never backed down from trying to take a horrible 76ers organization to the top.

Chris Webber isn't even on the Sixers anymore. With a couple of decent draft picks Andre Iguodala will have a solid supporting cast and the Sixers can become a consistent team over time. He probably will have more success than A.I. A.I. only made it to the finals once, I think Andre Iguodala's team will go farther in the playoffs year after year after he gets some good help.

I think its doubtful because not many players can match the heart and intensity that A.I. has played with throughout his career. Iverson has fought through injuries to stay on the court and I personally see him up there as one of the toughest pound for pound basketball players. Iguodala is a rare talent but in no way do I see him matching the consistency that Iverson has provided throughout the years.

Iggy's gonna be a great player but he's far from leading Philly to a c'ship. If he matures fast as well as his mates, then Philly can be a good contender in the East but not enough yet to be in the finals. His success will also depend to his mates. :)

Not until Iggy learn how to shoot consistently and get a better big man on Philly.

No way until he gets a big man to take some pressure off of him sort of a Kobe-Shaq combo with the big man taking pressure off the guard so that the guard or forward can further develop

no, while talented he and C Webb cannot carry a team...the 6ers are currently not made up good enough to win a title any time in the near future...
