Lita was great with the hardyz an not to mention back in 04 when lita and trish fueded the crowd was firmly behind Lita.

She was a heel when she left. Ratings don't pull when they let heels win (mainly cause of marks) so yeah. She is just as deserving as Trish to retire as champ.

Trish retiring as the Champion was a little tribute to Bret Hart and sort of a way to make amends for the Montreal screw job.
Lets compare and contrast shall we:
Bret Hart, the champion, was a fan favorite Canadian wrestler defending his title against Shawn Micheals, a rule breaker at the time. The match was held in Bret's home country and it was well known that it would be his last match in the WWE.
Trish Stratus, the champion, was a fan favorite Canadian wrestler defending her title against Lita, a rule breaker at the time. The match was held in Trish's home country and it was well known that it would be her last match in the WWE.
Of course we know how Bret's match ended, the infamous Montreal screw job. Vince was worried Bret would take the title with him to WCW in order to get over. It was ironically because Alundra Blayze had done so with the Women's Championship two years prior.
To further prove my point, Trish won by using Bret's signature move, the Sharpshooter.

They probably didn't want to have the Women's Championship be vacant again. Then they would have to go throught the whole battle royal for the #1 Contenders then have a chanpionship match all over again. Also since Lita retired a heel character, I think they thought it would be nice to see Mickie beat Lita on the night she retired.

They should had made her leave as a champ. You are right, she is as good as Trish but they probably didn't do this because one paperview ago, they did that and it might seem too repeitive. Its a pity though. She should had retired as champ.

Because she the heel and fans don,t like heels thats why and she a had affair with Edge in real life that her hurt realley bad, I still like her I wish her love and happiness

Yeah, Chris but keep in mind that Hart was only face in Europe and Canada at the time of the Montreal screw job, he was heel in the US.
