if you were a 6'9'' chinese boy just 16 years old, do you think you would be notcied much easilier?

Yes, of course you'd be noticed. Size and athleticism are two key factors in a player so young. If you have good instincts for the game, more power to you.

But at 16, you have lots of time to develop if you have that kind of size and good athleticism. Coaches can teach you the game as you grow into your frame. Hakeem Olajuwon and Dikembe Mutombo are just a couple of examples of guys who started playing very late. You just have to be a hard worker and good listener.

Listen to your coaches and work on your game, and you will get notice for sure.

No - there's too many 6'9" players around. Plus people still talk about Yao Ming being a terrible player. Being Chinesse is probably a bad thing as the NBA watching audience tend to only see red, white and blue or someone who looks "American". People need to stop talking about Chinesse players or European players, etc. If you're good, ethnicity ain't an issue.

Yah, definitely. Especially at an age as young as that. Talent can be coached. If you have the height, you can get the talent.

of course.... espically off height alone, at your age, all schools would want u for a free ride.
