She wasn't. Flashdance was made in 1983 - J-Lo would have been only 14 at the time (which also rules her out as a backup dancer). The female lead was played by Jennifer Beals.

NO Jennifer Lopez wouldve been like 10-12 when that movie was made. Jennifer Lopez did recently do a video where she re-enacted sceens from that movie and maybe you saw that. The actress in the movie is Jennifer Beals. I havent seen her anything in years!

No, J-LO just did a remake video of movie's famous dance scene. It was "Jennifer Beals" that was the real actress in the movie. But.. the actual dancer in the movie was a stunt body double.

Not in the original one with Patrick Swayze. That was Jennifer Gray (or Grey). Oops, the Jennifer Beals people are right, I was thinking of Dirty Dancing.
