Call a reputable jeweler in your area. I have dealt in this for years. A jeweler will less likely be interested in your stash and will give a fair market value. Then when you have a good idea of what it is worth, if interested in selling, go on eBay auction at above asking price of course. You would be surprised at what collectors will pay to have a great piece added to their collection.
I sold many great pieces at a great deal and could have made a lot more if I were the greedy type. But just trying to make people happy. It is just things after all.

Also I do know that cameos if turned backwards and held to the light, you will be able to see the silhouette. If you cannot see the silhouette it is probably not a valuable piece. Sold a lot of these

what about road show? it comes to chgo too..........just check the schedule
