I don't see anything wrong with upper ear piercing, although it is not my persoanl style. It is in a place that would not be noticeable, so employers would not ask you to remove it. The ony downside might be that it would hurt at first.

From what my frieds tell me, the belly-button is a sensitive area, but if you take proper care of the area and have the piercing done in a sterilized environment, you should be ok.

upper ear piercings are alright, as long as you don't have like 5 in each ear. the belly button piercing is probably a safer bet, if you are scared of the upper ear piercings. it WILL HURT a lot more than the ear lobe though. at least from what i remember.

my upper ear piercing didn't hurt at all...i got mine pierced with a ear gun, but im not sure if they use ear guns for upper ear piercings anymore, in some states they have to use needles for the upper ear, so i would imagine that it would hurt more than the ear lobe. The belly button only hurts for a few seconds when they're actually piercing it, and afterwords its just sore for a few days. in my opinion belly rings take longer to heal, but they're both cool in my book...

upper ear peircings hurt more than the earlobe, but aren't totally unbearable. They usually numb the belly button area a lot before they pierce it, so you don't even feel it. However, i am not a fan of either of these piercings, because they make people look a little unsophisticated.
