I am thinking of buying a Sony Vaio computer?

I am a Dell user right now is it worth the switch? cost etc

I don't know if its just me and I have a Sony Vaio computer (bought for $2700 a few years ago) and it gives me problems. I've heard other people say they wouldn't recommend it.

I also have a Dell and I think the Dell is better so far.

A Vaio is a really good computer. But I prefer a Hp. Hp has everything at a good price, the only prob with an Hp is that it comes with like 5 Gb of junk but thats about it, go for a Hp if possible

If you have the good budget, then buy vaio. I own toshiba n Hp, but I tried my aunt's and it's really good. Especially for the one who really mobile, vaio series has up to 5 hours! My hp only lasts 3 hours, so I need to bring the heavy charger anywhere. Vaio costs much, around $2000. But it's worth.

I can't answer for the cost element, but our company has 30 laptops and, in the past week, 2 of our Sony VAIOs have crashed, and they were just purchased last spring. None of our Dells have crashed, and they are all older.

I have repaired 100s of Dells,HP,gateway,emachines,custom built computers and in over15 years only seen two Viaos have a problem and they were easy to fix.In my opinon Sony makes a better PC.Might cost a little more,But ya get what you pay for
