Why aren't all presidential primaries on the same day? Doesn't having them strewn across several months disenfranchise the American voter?

Effectively yes (or at least most of them; if you live in Iowa or New Hampshire its a great system assuming you like politics.)

The justification for the current system is that having a staged primary allows smaller candidates to compete--you only have to have enough money to campaign in a few states initially whereas having all the primaries at once would require candidates to have enough money to compete in every state simultaniously.

Presidential primaries are not on the same day so that there will be no confusion.

primaries are not a useful thing anymore. We need to change to more moder things, like using the TV. a couple times, before and not any other thing.
