I know all the basics, but I need some great old classic rock bands that hardly anyone in my generation knows about.
It started out me listening to all the great old stuff, then people took note from my actions and started claiming to be fans. So I need some that hardly anyone would know about or some that never made it huge.THX :)

Classic Rock (by this I mean early to mid 70's) but a bit out of the usual? Hmm go for Blue Cheer, Groundhogs, even Slade, or Kraut Rock bands like Can, Neu. Faust, or the Japanese band Flower Travellin band. For a bit of prog try Van Der Graaf Generator, especially their Pawn Hearts album, there pretty much the only band I can stomach a 23 minute song from but some of their earlier stuff is damn laughable.
