The battlefield is a great place to tour on a bike. Lots of other cool places to see around here also. You should also plan on stopping at Battlefield Harley-Davidson, a great cycle shop, and they always have things going on. July 12 -15, 2007 is Gettysburg Bike Week. Great event to attend while in town. Last year attracted over 20,000 riders.

I'm in Arizona, but you might try going into some of the motorcycle forums. People are 'friendlier' there and you might find someone to ride with during your trip. Have fun!
