Laptops are personal choices. But go to pcworld and cnet to find out what and how to buy a laptop. For example you want a laptop with at least a dual core processor. Get one that you can upgrade later on, like the memory and hard drive. Definitely want one in your case that you can upgrade the graphics card. You can read all about it then just sit down and see what you want. Also you can go to some sites like HP and customize a computer. But since it is going be a one time deal, sit down and see what you want.
