Inanimate means "not endowed with life", or "not living".
The sun is an object which is not alive, even though it does move.
The wind also moves, but it's not an object itself. The air that is moving in the wind is another concept. But both are inanimate, since they're not living.
I think most people would consider a tree living, and therefore it is NOT an inanimate object.

the sun and the wind for sure. but some people consider plants to be animate as they are living things
