It's unclear that your statement is even true. Assuming that the Sun is a perfect 5900 K blackbody, I get about 28.9 MW/m^2 between 400 nm and 750 nm.

However, the total radiation is about 68.7 MW/m^2, so the visible energy is slightly less than half of the total.
