mean's it's safe to be gay here.
the triangle represents the pink triangle, the symbol hitler had for gays (he exterminated gays along with other groups).
the circle represents a safe location. originally the triangle was pink and the circle green. about 10 years ago it was called the "safe space" program and we had magnets we could put up in our cubicles to let folks know it was safe to be gay there.

I had this question once, I had a teacher that wore a circle with a triangle, and the answers to the question disappeared, one answer was that it represented the father, the son and the holy Ghost, it was also something occultic, but I can't remember exactly. It was also an old symbol for AAA.

In modern times, rather than "mythology and folklore", it's the logo for Alcoholics Anonymous. You might see it in conjunction with bumper stickers like "Easy Does it" or "One Day at a Time."

If I remember correctly, that was originally an Alchemical Symbol, but off the top of my head, I don't recall what it means...not a student of alchemy.I've also seen it used as one of the starts of circles of protection...

I know it has something to do with being gay. If the triangle is a solid pink surrounded by a black background, it represents lesbianism; just as the rainbow represents gay men.
