The absolute best e-mail system in my opinion is gmail. None of the other ones even come close. It is completely free and gives you more space to use then any other e-mail system. I'm able to keep hundreds of important e-mails that I may need in the future, and gmail also allows you to search through your e-mails to find exactly what you need. If you would like they also can retrieve your e-mails from an already existing e-mail account and they will appear in your gmail inbox. Just go to www.gmail.com and sign up for your free account you will not regret it.

When you say you need an email system, are you refering to just an email provider, or are you wanting to host your own email?

Google Mail (gmail.com) is good, email me and ill invite you.
Yahoo (mail.yahoo.com) is a little better in my opinion.
window live mail is good, as good as yahoo try looking at MSN
i suggest yahoo
