My and my friend were very close last year, however,i am now finding her impossible. I can never complain to her without her yelling at me, and she expects me to listen to everything she complains about. we haven't been able to spend that much time with each other, and lately it seems that our personalities have been conflicting. i brought up that i was afraid of losing our friendship, but she didnt seem to think my fears were legitimate. are we drifting apart?

Time to set some boundaries!
Tell your friend that you are not their sounding board.
BMWC, bit**hers, moaners, whiners, complainers!
Tell your friend that you want to hear about the positve things in her life. And if she doesn't have something positive to say, it's just bumming you out.

Tell her that's what therapist are for, to listen to your woes of the world. And you don't want to participate in negative energy flow.

suggest a break from this friend or to set aside 2 days a week that you meet, or talk, and tell her when she gets raggy you will say a code word like Hippo, to remind her that she's not putting out positive vibes.

Tell her you've seen THE SECRET on Oprah, and you are no longer allowing negativity into your life.

You and your friend should spend one day a week together doing the things that you like to do with each other.
