Are doctors implanting tracking devices in babies at birth or is this a yet another myth

i believe it to be a myth. i work at a hospital in labor and delivery and i can tell you that we don't do that. i believe it to be myth at this point but watch in about 10-20 yrs it will done. that would be a cool way to keep an eye on your little ones especially helpful if they were kidnapped then we could find them sooner. not sure if when an adult they would want to be tracked though.

100% Myth..Think about it, most mothers have there babies with them from the time the babies are born to the time they go home. My friend had twins in January and they did not leave her room once so where would a doctor get time or the opportunity to implant a tracking device in a baby or babies that stay with the mother in her room the whole time?

Why would a doctor even want to put a tracking device in a baby? That makes no sense at all
