I peeled off some labels that were on my fridge & freezer but the adhesive has remained.What can i use to lift this off please?.

Can i just add,i managed to peel off the labels,but the adhesive remained though.

squirt some WD40 onto the mark, leave for a couple of minutes and then wipe off. also good for removing price labels from things like glass ware & ornaments.

B & Q diy store have Adhesive Wipes in a small tub - they are brilliant for getting rid of sticky adhesive labels and marks.

Use some really sticky scotch-tape to lift off the adhesive. If that fails, try very warm soapy water, then rub off with your fingers. Good luck, I know how annoying that can be!

Use a cotton wool pad soaked in surgical spirit. Will do the job without harming the paintwork on you fridge.

Maplin electronics (see their web page) sell an aerosol specifically made for this job it's easy to use and won't harm painted surfaces. And they don't cost much, delivery is fast and cheap, and you will always have it for use later as there is always sticky labels to remove.

any orange or citrus cleaners work great...i use stanley home product called orange miracle which is great on chewing gum and lipstick on clothing also but now there are more citrus cleaners in the store available

BABY OIL is brilliant..I wouldn't use Nail Varnish remover as although great to remove stuff it contains acetone!!

Use Goop-Off or Goof-Off, found at most hardware stores; it takes off everything except oil based paint.
