the main door is open, and the smaller side door is also open, but he just stays up in the higher area of the garage.

would it help if we turned on the lights inside the garage ? it is still daylight right now.

would it help if we turned on the portable fan ?

Birds can't see in the dark. Wait till it gets dark. Using a flashlight, turn it on just briefly to find the bird. You should be able to get close to it and catch it with a net or your hand. Don't keep the flashlight on continuous or the bird will also be able to see.

Shoot it... no big loss... lots of them out there... they'll hear the shot and the rest will stay away too. Teach the little feathered vermin a lesson.
