Move this to 1024*768 for starters. The higher you go, the smaller the text.

Hi,

Right click on the empty space on desktop.

Click on Properties, Click on settings

You can see Screen Resolution value, change it To 1024x768 or higher.

The icons will become small.

If not also try changing the colour Quality to Highest32bit it may help sometimes.

Try going to your control panel, click on Display and see if there are options there to get a higher resolution. Typically that will reduce your icons and text.

right click on your desktop (the picture you see after start up)
select properties, then go to the tab settings, there you will see a slider with numbers under it. you should move the slider (don't know to what but the numbers should get higher if you want everything displayed smaller.) play with this (can't destroy anything) and you'll soon see everything like your used to!

go to START, then CONTROL PANEL, then click DISPLAY then SETTINGS. In settings play around with it and set the resolution to what you want. Also check out the others to change your colors too.

Also in the FIREFOX browser press CNTL and + for larger font and CTRL and - for small font.

IE 7, I think you click help on top and then click INTERNET if I remember correctly.
