Colt Brennan out of Hawaii has a good shot, what with him setting records left and right. Darren McFadden is also a good choice if Huston Nutt can keep him in and Arkansas can win consistently to keep him in the spotlight.

Third spot's a tossup between several could-be's.
Brandon Ore of Virginia Tech
Colt McCoy of Texas
(Unfortunately) John David Booty of USC (yuck...)
Riley Skinner of Wake Forest

And, if they were fair and people other than QBs and HBs got recognition, I'd nominate people like Vince Hall and Xavier Adibi out of Virginia Tech. Give some other positions a chance.

I think that they will be (in no order)

Colt Brennan, QB, Hawaii (record-setting numbers, amazing qb. he plays for a relatively small school football wise, but if anyone from a non-major conference can win it, he can)
Steven Slaton, RB, West Virginia (had ridiculous numbers this year, had better numbers than peterson and mcfadden. was 3rd in the NCAA in rushing, tied for 8th for rushing tds, and had a 7.0 yards per carry average)
Ian Johnson, RB, Boise State (now that boise state have proven themselves to be among the elite teams, he should get the attention and recognition that he deserves. Led NCAA in rushing tds last year and was 4th in rushing yards)

Slaton is the most likely among those three to win it

John David Booty - QB - USC
Ian Johnson - RB - Boise St.
Darren McFadden - RB - Arkansas

Those are in no particular order, and don't roll your eyes at Johnson. They may not play an extremely tough conference schedule, but you still have to go do it week in and week out. After his 100 yard performance against ou, and averaging 4.4 yds/carry in the Fiesta Bowl, he proved he's no fluke.

this could nicely be an hassle-free one. If the international gets too warm, we've shown that we are in a position to stay to tell the tale it because of fact the "Cradles of Civilization" have been in warm, dry aspects. If the international gets chilly, then we've already shown that we are in a position to stand up to ice an prolonged time, and that's with out any "severe" technologies. If the international gets overpopulated, it is going to, out of necessity, stability itself out. i don't think of we could desire to agonize approximately surviving the subsequent one hundred years. the genuine question is a thank you to we save the subsequent one hundred years from turning out to be the subsequent darkish Age.

booty will get consideration on an undefeated USC team...the kid from Hawaii will be mentioned but probably has no shot as he plays on the junior circuit(done pretty well for himself for a guy who got kicked out of the Colorado program for unlawful entry and sexual assault on a co-ed)...McFadden and Slayton get a sniff but no scratch...
