The like Salvation army might have some cool vintage ones, if that is what you are into. Also JC Penny and Macy's have really nice ones for a good price. Also maybe like an older friend could loan you hers or something...

Try Snowline Hospice, or GoodWill. Or, try stores like Charlotte Russe, I got my first prom dress there for about $40. Depending on where you live you might want to do a web search of sample sales in your area. For those who don't know, a sample sale is where designers/stores sell sample items to the public for GREAT prices. You might also want to check out Guessoutlet.com I used to work for Guess and I remember getting some homecomming dresses in like two months after homecomming...I don't know if the dresses would be listed online, but it's worth a shot. And they didn't cost anymore than $70. It also depends on your price range and personal style, Macy's has dressed, so does JCPenny's. If there isn't a mall near you you can always go online and look.

i go t mine @ deb usually in the back of the store they have some that havent sold. i got mine 4 $12.00(really) it debends on the store but they might have some but start looking early last year i didnt and it took 4ever to find a dress that fit me.
