Sales people are among the highest paid in this country. If you have a decent territory exclusive to yourself with plenty of demand, you will do well; however, if anyone from the same company can sell in your area, well, that certainly will decrease your total sales figures. Before you leap into photocopier sales, I'd check Consumer Reports to see how good the products are ranked. I'd also look into your potential compensation... will you earn even more if you sell a maintenance program for each copier you sell? Sales is extremely hard work... it takes a tough mind to handle all the rejection... but then, that's why the compensation is what it is.
