put an administrator password at startup, you would have to go into setup when you first start it, go to security or something, you should see options for passwords, turn it on and make you own, then exit saving changes.....

if you want a password just for your profile(your name on the computer), go to start, control panel, user accounts, you should see your account and a button that says change password

Go to start, then control panel, then click on User accounts and create a password for your computer... Make sure there is only one account on your computer. Store your password in a safe place... That's it. People can't use your computer anymore.

i wanted a similar thing a while ago.. so i made a batch program that logged the user off after 5 seconds and put it in the startup for all users...

about all it was, was something like: shutdown -t 5 -f -l

you would have to check the different things to make sure they are right..

Then i had another batch program on the desktop disguised as something else...

it had: shutdown -a

so when other ppl used my computer it would log them off... when i used it, i would run the other batch program and it would let me continue.

The only down side was if you forgot, you would have to log in again.

Hope this helps

Hi. Add a password to your login. Then hitting the "Windows" key will lock to computer. This key is between the Ctrl and Alt on the left side.
