Whenever a telemarketer calls you up, what do you tend to say or do?

One time a telemarketer called and asked " are you the home owner" I said "uh.. yeah sure..." he went on asking some questions and I said "OH No the home owners are here" and I hung up.

Another time this guy called to sell carpet shampooers and I was asking if it got blood out. He said "yes I think it does" I said "well I need to know right now. The police are on their way" He hung up.

When they call asking for me, I say, "I'm sorry, this is her sister. You're not going to be able to get in contact with her, because she checked into a Rehab facility. Call her back in about 6 months." And if it's a random caller selling things like magazines, I just hand the phone over to my 2 year old, and she'll talk to them till they hang up.

I'd either:

(1) Say "Hello? Hello? Hello?" and pretend my phone has bad signals so I hang up.

(2) Pretend I don't speak that language and hang up.

Tell them I'm not interested and to remove my number from their list, then hang up before they can say another word.

if i can see the caller id i dont answer but when the caller id phone is mia then i either hang up if they keep talking or tell them i dont understand english or keep saying hello

I tell them this is a private government number, where did they get it, and they'll be someone coming around to ask some questions.

I tend to ask them creepy stalker-ish questions like what are you wearing?

I will use foul language, and tell them every nasty thing, and tell them off. ANd use swear words in thier ear, and tell them all nagative things. That way they DON'T CALL me back. EVER!
