I keep getting this site when I open IE 7 http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx?

I also can't open up the search box on windows xp, my system restore brings up a white screen and other problems.. WHAT is going on its not a virus

I don't know what is going on but it isn't just YOUR computer because I tried going on the website and all it came up with was a blue screen. I also have a windows xp so it may be the type of computerbut i seriously doubt it. So it isn't a virus but I don't know what the actual problem. It may also be just that the website got deleted. GOOD LUCK!!!

Its not a virus, it happens if it is not able to fix the first time run once screen on IE 7.

You can follow the trick below to Resolve the issue.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"RunOnceComplete"=dword:00000001
"RunOnceHasShown"=dword:00000001
==========================================

Copy those lines in between the ========= lines.
Save them in a notepad and save the file as a .reg file extension.
Double click the reg file and theissue will be resolved.

Method 2 :

Manually go to start - Run - Type Regedit

navigate to the registry key
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]

Highlight main and on the right side create a dword value with a name "RunOnceComplete" and give a value of 1, similarly create one more dword with name "RunOnceHasShown" and give a value of 1.

Close REgistry Editor.

This will resolve the issue.
