Not only has it got me in trouble but I've received a few beatings in my younger days because of it! Then again I have to give some credit to the little muscle that works so hard in the mouth (the tongue is the real culprit here). It has swept my wife off her feet, stopped some terrible arguments, spoke valiant poetry,calmed angry men, soothed my kid sister, revered men who deserved it, called on God when I needed Him, and when I didn't need Him.It has made Friends and foes laugh, and put smiles on my dad's face, brought happy tears to a lover, and grateful smiles to strangers. It has begged forgiveness, and gave the same to others, this tongue of mine has also apologized for the stupid things I've done and made peace with foes for idiotic mistakes. This stupid mouth has lied only to recant the lie most humbly. And it has sang beautifuly for hours on end, and laughed for the oddest things. It has even tickled the ears of my sweet wife. Nice little muscle it is! But man can it ever do a great deal of damage when it's let loose out of your mouth. Devastating damage.

Unfortunately yes1 When I was in basic training in the Army during WW2, all second Lieutenants spent 90 days in training before they got their gold bars. One particular obnoxious 2nd Lt.
got on my already frazzled nerves , and as he walked away, I said, in what I thought was my normal voice:" What do you expect from a 90 day wonder?" He put me on KP for two weeks, and 2 weeks on Guard duty so that I couldn't go into town on a weekend pass for an entire month.

every day ... i think it just did that a minute ago too ! it doesn't know how to mind its Owen business and stay shut ! no matter how many times i close it it comes right back with a smart answer that gets ME into trouble ! but I'll win this battle one day !!!

lots of times one time i went to a new customers house an east indian lady came out i said sorry wrong house she said are you Ed? ireplied yes but iam looking for mrs . Smith . She replied thats me
