Birds are extremely light with hollow bones. This makes it easier for them to move and lift themselves. They also use wind currents to help them move, that's why they look like they're just gliding. They are. They only really need to get onto a current, and it's smooth sailing.

Humans are just too heavy and have no wings to help keep them aloft.

The bone structure of a bird's wings are what are responsible for allowing the bird to fly.

As a matter of fact, a bird's bone structure has more in common with a raptor (prehistoric dinosaur) than any other living thing that was on earth.

God gave birds a wonderful gift-the gift of flight. However, compared to man, even relative to size, the bird's brain is small.
Consequently, God gave man a gift-a rather fine mind. In it,
we can fly many places the bird can not. And we also have
a capacity to enjoy a winged creature's visit to our garden and feeder. We also have a lot to do, here on the ground.

birds are able to glide or fly unassited due to the design of the wing, air moving over the wing causes lift, depending on air current they can float for miles without even flapping, as your dumpy arms are not designed to serve a purpose remotely similar to a bird`s wing you are unable to fly

How old are you? Birds are able to fly because they are lighter in weight (hollow bones) and their wings are perfect for the purpose. Humans have solid bones (very heavy) and no wings at all.
