The rock would fall and continually accelerate until it reaches the center of the Earth. At this point the rock would pass by and decelerate, until its momentum ceases, then it would fall back toward the center of Earth and pass back by and then decelerate again and fall back toward the center. It would continually repeat this process until it floating at rest at the center of the Earth.

I would think it would fall straight through, but it might stop right in the center, due to the equal amounts of gravitational force on each side.

Hi. It would eventually stop at the center of the Earth and float because gravity is balanced in all directions there.

it would burn up while it was falling, then it would go a little past the middle, then it would come back up a little, then it would go back down a little, and then it would do this until it stopped in the middle, then it would melt and be a pool of floating rock liquid stuff

Whatever you were using to dig the hole would melt about halfway through, so you'd never find out. I think that after that, even if you were able to dig the hole all the way through that it would collapse from the pressure/gravity.

It would oscillate back and forth, lower and lower each time until it came to rest at then center of the Earth.
