How to get rid of infection Win32/puper!generic?

My PC got infected: Win32/puer!generic file name:A084515.dll
(detected by AVG7.5)
But I don't know how to do .

To bsmith:

thank you so lot, for me it may be easier to do, when I follow " Clearing Restore Points Win XP". Is it safe to do that? Can I do this way?
I am afraid to do the other way.
